DAVID BODDY, Senior Partner

A successful entrepreneur, David has developed a reputation as an insightful, positive and highly successful business coach with over 30 years’ experience of working with both large and small companies.

He is the developer of the Total People Maintenance Programme, successfully introduced into Unilever’s UK production facilities, and the “Creative Conversation Circles’, a dynamic way to innovate and bring clarity and alignment to corporate culture.

In addition to an array of SME clients, he has worked with Johnson & Johnson, the World Health Organisation, Tate & Lyle, Merck Sharpe & Dhome, Lockheed Aeronautical, Martin Marietta and the McDonnell Douglas division of Boeing.

In 2003 he took a career break to become Headmaster of a leading London Boys’ senior school and in 2012 was elected Chairman of the UK Society of Headteachers. He has written two best-selling books on leadership in education and was Founder of the Lucca Leadership Trust, offering training to young community leaders.

He has undertaken formal leadership coaching with the Institute of Leadership & Management, Level 7 and is part of the Coaches Coach network, the largest coaching network in the world. A trained journalist, he worked as Political Press Secretary to the Rt Hon Margaret Thatcher MP during the 1979 and 1983 general elections.

KAREN JONES Managing Director, Denison Consulting, UK, Ireland & the Nordics

Karen serves as the Managing Director for Denison Consulting Europe in the UK, Ireland & Nordics. She is based in the North of England but works as part of the European team, with the headquarters near Zurich, Switzerland.

Karen started her career in the National Health Service gaining personal experience of the importance of leadership and accountability for delivering promises to vulnerable clients. From specializing in plastic surgery, she moved into the academic study of psychology. She spent eight years in research at King’s College University, London gaining a research fellowship from Smith & Nephew whilst completing an MSc in Research Methods. She researched `shared decision making` & the impact of `evidenced based practice` within primary care at Newcastle University Medical School. She has been invited to New Zealand as a visiting Lecturer, and as an External Examiner Stirling University, Scotland.

She has worked in corporate development driving a `leaders/managers as coach` initiative and incorporating lean methodology within project management. She spent three years within a company of occupational psychologists where she began to differentiate organisational culture and leadership climate. Her work enables clients to drive a high performance culture and create a climate that encourages openness, trust and compassionate accountability.

Karen has worked both in private and public companies, in the board room and with the frontline. As an organisational development specialist & certified executive business coach she enjoys working with managers and leadership teams to explore how they can make an impact with the people who make a difference. Her approach blends the need for clarity on what needs to be done with how people feel whilst doing it, often working at the deeper level of attitude and mindset for sustainable transformative change.

DON MARSHALL, Senior Associate ASIS Business Coach, Scotland.

A highly motivated, energetic, experienced and successful business coach, Don has a proven track record of delivering results within timescales that exceed expectations. He is a qualified MBA and is fluent in several languages. He has an extensive knowledge of multichannel retail, IT, e-commerce, e-marketing, supply chain, warehouse operations and fulfilment, gained through over 25 years of working within several high growth blue-chip environments.

Don ran an eCommerce business for 13 years alongside various contract and permanent roles, working with clients to increase revenue, reduce costs and become more profitable. Companies supported include: Transform, Studio Moderna, IMRG, Network Rail, Doddle, Taylors of Harrogate, Halfords, Wolseley, The Landmark Group (Dubai), Boots Opticians, Axida Ltd, Easycom and Carrefour

After many years living and working in England he now lives in Scotland with his wife and daughter, enjoying the outdoor life and landscape that Scotland offers. He represents ASIS Business Coach in Scotland.

SARAH BENSON, Manager, Client Care

Sarah joins us with a background in HR, Talent Management and Management Development/Coaching spanning 15 years. As Resourcing Business Partner for she developed key skills in psychometric assessment, selection, management hiring and leadership development. She has qualifications from the British Psychological Society and in Neurolinguistic Programming, giving her unique insight into commercial business operations and leadership early on.
Over the years she has worked across multiple areas of business for brands such as United Biscuits, and Treasury Wine Estates, honing her skills in assessment and identification of talent.

Understanding people and their drivers, and aligning those with organisational culture and goals, is a unique talent and has seen her identify and develop high potential individuals in Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain and Manufacturing across EMEA, Australia and Latin America.

A mother to a toddler, avid reader and nature lover – Sarah was born in Hong Kong and raised in Surrey. Sarah graduated from Oxford Brookes University with a BSc in Biology and Business Management. She joined ASIS Business Coach early in 2021.
