A successful entrepreneur, David has developed a reputation as an insightful, positive and highly successful business coach with over 30 years’ experience of working with both large and small companies.
He is the developer of the Total People Maintenance Programme, successfully introduced into Unilever’s UK production facilities, and the “Creative Conversation Circles’, a dynamic way to innovate and bring clarity and alignment to corporate culture.
In addition to an array of SME clients, he has worked with Johnson & Johnson, the World Health Organisation, Tate & Lyle, Merck Sharpe & Dhome, Lockheed Aeronautical, Martin Marietta and the McDonnell Douglas division of Boeing.
In 2003 he took a career break to become Headmaster of a leading London Boys’ senior school and in 2012 was elected Chairman of the UK Society of Headteachers. He has written two best-selling books on leadership in education and was Founder of the Lucca Leadership Trust, offering training to young community leaders.
He has undertaken formal leadership coaching with the Institute of Leadership and Management Level 7 and is a qualified Mediator, specialising in the Resolution of Workplace Disputes.
David Boddy is a fully qualified Mediator and is registered both with the International Mediation Institute and the Civil Mediation Council in the UK.
KAREN JONES Managing Director, Denison Consulting, UK, Ireland & the Nordics
Karen serves as the Managing Director for Denison Consulting Europe in the UK, Ireland & Nordics. She is based in the North of England but works as part of the European team, with the headquarters near Zurich, Switzerland.
Karen started her career in the National Health Service gaining personal experience of the importance of leadership and accountability for delivering promises to vulnerable clients. From specializing in plastic surgery, she moved into the academic study of psychology. She spent eight years in research at King’s College University, London gaining a research fellowship from Smith & Nephew whilst completing an MSc in Research Methods. She researched `shared decision making` & the impact of `evidenced based practice` within primary care at Newcastle University Medical School. She has been invited to New Zealand as a visiting Lecturer, and as an External Examiner Stirling University, Scotland.
She has worked in corporate development driving a `leaders/managers as coach` initiative and incorporating lean methodology within project management. She spent three years within a company of occupational psychologists where she began to differentiate organisational culture and leadership climate. Her work enables clients to drive a high performance culture and create a climate that encourages openness, trust and compassionate accountability.
Karen has worked both in private and public companies, in the board room and with the frontline. As an organisational development specialist & certified executive business coach she enjoys working with managers and leadership teams to explore how they can make an impact with the people who make a difference. Her approach blends the need for clarity on what needs to be done with how people feel whilst doing it, often working at the deeper level of attitude and mindset for sustainable transformative change.
RAJEEV TANDON – Managing Director, ASIS Business Coach, India
Rajeev spent most of his career as Strategy Director for the Hero Motor Corporation in India until taking on his current role in 2015. He leads a small team of former C-Suite executives, operating across the continent. Together, they specialise in the development of effective corporate cultures, embodying them into a company’s strategy and action planning. Rajeev holds Engineering and MBA degrees from leading Indian universities. In his previous role as Strategy Head at Hero, a prestigious and diversified corporate entity in India, he spearheaded the development of new business models and conducted strategic, financial, technology, and marketing appraisals. He has a proven track record of driving performance improvement initiatives within organizations by setting targets and diligently monitoring outcomes. His experience across diverse industries makes him adaptable and sector-agnostic.
